Put simply, we cannot allow the rights of a few to override the safety of all. That is not the America that our founding fathers envisioned. And that is not the America I want my children and grandchildren to live in.

As a matter of fact that is exactly what the founding fathers had in mind when they wrote and ratified the Bill Of Rights.

The Bill of Rights delineates the individual rights of the Sovereign Citizen that the Federal Government is NOT empowered to violate.

If you want your children and grand children to live in a dictatorship or to live under tyranny I suggest that you take them to Zimbabwe with you and there renounce your citizenship.

And by the way in case you did not know the words on the Great Seal of the United States “E Pluribus Unum” literally means Of Many One which for the illiterate means that although the citizens of the United States are many each of us is an individual with individual rights; ours by right of birth given unto us by the Creator that can not be rescinded by government.

This clown was elected because of false accusations against Ted Stevens that were proven false...after the election of Begich, of course.

He has no business holding the office.

Could you please take this out of Breaking, and leave the new one I rewrote in its place?

Once again, my apologies for using the NBC News model of putting out breaking news.

Oh, how the libs pick and choose. So hypocritical. Best example: liberals go wild protecting the rights of criminals to “due process”. For example, the exclusionary rule. If the cops make any little procedural mistake in conducting a search, even the most vital, totally convincing proof of a crime becomes inadmissible in court and the perp walks. You literally have cases where the cops find a body or a duffel bag filled with drugs in the trunk of the car, but they can’t use it as evidence because they didn’t ask permission to search the trunk or get a warrant. Result: animal walks, kills and rapes next week.

So, when it comes to the rights of criminals, the rights of the few DEFINITELY override the safety of the many in Feinstein’s world view.

A further irony is that the exclusionary rule is entirely a judicial creation. You won’t find it in the Constitution. When it comes to the right to keep and bear arms, which is explicitly enshrined in the Constitution, the libs are ready to feed the shredder and the hell with the rights of a huge number of Americans AND their safety.

In the future, please do better research before posting something of this nature here at Free Republic.

It’s not just the main stream news and talk show hosts that follow Free Republic religiously.

There are democrats that do not support Feinstein’s positions.

Thanks.

Eska, thank you for your post in number 47.

We cannot allow the rights of a few all to override the safety of all the political/regulator/robber class.

This is what happens when you take a Democrat whose brother is a leading nutball conspiracy theorist and send him to the US Senate.

God forgive me for the very un-Christian thoughts I am having about these leftists. For those that are willing dupes and especially for those that know EXACTLY what they are doing to America and to Americans....

and why.

... shall not be infringed.

Don't like it? AMEND it. Until then, OBEY, ENFORCE, UPHOLD and DEFEND it. Do not IGNORE it.

Yeah, never mind the fact that EVERY federal gun control law has paved the way to more and bigger INFRINGEMENT. It's probably too late. The Constitution is crumbling before our eyes. We're screwed without another revolution.

“Do we let the gun industry take over and dictate policy to this country?”

She is a fool. It is the American people who are not allowing a bunch of leftwing nutcase politicians to dictate policy that is unconstitutional. The gun industry only provides merchandise for the buyers who want it. The can’t make someone buy a gun! DUHHHHH!

Gun Industry = Law abiding citizens

We know how most politicians and MSM feel about the American people who are law abiding citizens (who want to be left alone) and don’t agree with them. They despise us (and the feeling is mutual).

Where this leads...

We can't allow the votes of a few to override the safety of all, if those votes result in Democrats losing power before they finish implementing their agenda.

True, we cannot allow the rights and “feelings” of a bunch of libtards, to deny us the right and means to protect our families and selves. Protection of your person and family is your responsibility, not the responsibility of others, like the cops. To this end, you need to have the proper weapons to confront those who would do you harm.

We will NOT allow the brain farts of a few politicians to overrule the common sense of the rest of us

“Put simply, we cannot allow the rights of a few to override the safety of all.”

Isn’t that the same rationale the ChiComs use, when favoring the stability of the state over the rights of the individual?

He didn’t say it. I didn’t say this:

He who gives up essential freedoms for temporary safety deserves neither.
