[history]
An explosion deep within Irans Fordow nuclear facility has destroyed much of the installation and trapped about 240 personnel deep underground, according to a former intelligence officer of the Islamic regime.
The previously secret nuclear site has become a center for Irans nuclear activity because of the 2,700 centrifuges enriching uranium to the 20-percent level. A further enrichment to weapons grade would take only weeks, experts say.
The level of enrichment has been a major concern to Israeli officials, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu repeatedly has warned about the 20-percent enriched stockpile.

As always, consider the source (I am not saying it is good or bad)...

WND? I would have my doubts. As of 9:11pm, EST, nothing on Drudge, Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc.
Can anybody cite a source other than WND?

Somebody scored huge. I wonder how many thousands of years that hole will be “hot”? I bet the survivors down there are glowing by now. Couldn't have happened any better if the CIA had planned it.

Nothing on BBC or Al Jazeera

"
The blast shook facilities within a radius of three miles." Should be easily found on seismograph records, if it occurred, especially since the time is given in the article.

Should be easily found on seismograph records,Southern Iran had a 4.2 quake today. Does that count?

Couldn't have happened any better if the CIA had planned it. Don't you mean "...if the Mossad had planned it."?
Somehow, I can't imagine that the CIA would be actively working against the wishes of Dear Leader.

Is this confirmed by a real news source yet?
To: Charles Martel
It would be small in magnitude and difficult to distinguish from natural sources for an untrained person. But a person trained to identify profiles of artificial explosions should be able to give a yes/no determination very quickly for that geographical area at the time given in the article.

Should be easily found on seismograph records, if it occurred, especially since the time is given in the article. Was just thinking that, probably more sensitive devices recording somewhere than available on the geology market.

I’m sure that NSA has Artificial Intelligence algorithms analyzing every squiggle from every hot geographical area 24x7. You can make a really, really good seismo sensing device from a few dollars worth of MEMS sensors/accelerometers these days.
