During Thursday's announcement of a new assault weapons ban, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) displayed guns as props during her. However, the guns on display break Washington, D.C., gun laws- as reported by CNN.

It has been reported that she got special prior permission from the DC police beforehand. Some people are more equal than others.
Local police granted special dispensation to the annointed senator. Maybe we should all apply for such priveleges?
I'd be interested in seeing what portion of the code authorizes such "special prior permission."
I understand she called David Gregory first to see if she could display them.
This was driven up to the DC line, from Maryland, and the DC cops escorted the guns all the way up to the capital building.
Now this said...I believe that this opens up a front where some Senator may ask for a daily display of guns in his office, with the DC cops now forced to cooperate, and the Master of Arms has to go along with this. You can imagine this horse-and-pony show...daily...with guns brought in from some site in Virginia to a Senator’s office.
So the key is the person controlling the weapons, not the weapons themselves. Isn’t that the exact opposite of the point the liberals want to make?
She also has HER OWN unrestricted Concealed Carry permit. The hypocrite.
Prosecute.
“Laws for thee, but not for me.” The liberal motto.
I am seriously asking my Senator to call a press conference, so he can show off a few guns.
Maybe he can demonstrate a functions check, or show us how to add accessories.
I assume the DC police will give him the same special treatment, for his press conference.
We're not allowed to ask those questions of Her Lordship.
Liberal elites are above the law. The law is for the little people... don’t you know that?
Laws don’t apply to the ruling class, just us peasants.
Is there a law that allows the police to ignore other laws when they want?
