If McCarthy’s LATE husband had been armed when Colin Ferguson started shooting on that LIRR train, he might still be alive and that fool of a wife would be home tending to the house instead of trying to disarm all of us.

Why is it that every time some mental case shoots people, the first reaction of our politicians is to try to take everyone’s guns who DIDN’T commit the crime?

That’s a rhetorical question, because all of the most serious gun-grabbers are extreme liberals, all of whom believe that the government should rule us, rather than have the government serve us...and if we get too uppity about how they’re spending our money or how they’re regulating us to death, then they don’t want to face any resistance when they send their goons to drag us off to jail.

Of course we all agree the insane should not have access to firearms.

But this is a Trojan horse.

Once the government can deny firearms ownership based upon this loosely defined term “mental illness,” how easy will it be for the government to deem as dangerously paranoid (mentally ill) anyone who does not trust the government and who vocalizes support for the 2nd Amendment as a means of preventing tyranny in government?

The “Assault Weapons Ban of 2013″ is similar to one passed in 1994 that expired with little protest in 2004

Obviously analytical skills are not this guy's forte.

Sen. Joe Manchin ('Rat, WV) puked up the following:

Manchin Statement on White House Mass Violence Proposals

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) issued the following statement today in response to the White House proposals on mass violence:

“I appreciate the work that went into the President’s recommendations. I have not had a chance to review them yet, because I have been meeting with West Virginians today to discuss school safety and the culture of mass violence that has permeated our society today. I will weigh each recommendation carefully.

“However, I am disappointed that the President did not recommend the creation of the national commission on mass violence that I have proposed. A national commission can build the consensus we need for real action backed not only by gun control advocates, mental health experts and entertainment industry executives but also by law-abiding gun owners who fully understand the history and heritage of firearms in America. Violence destroys the dignity, hopes and lives of millions of Americans, and we have a unique opportunity to stop this epidemic – but only if we can put politics aside and have an honest and effective conversation about what to do about our culture of mass violence.”

Soooooo ...

This NRA endorsed, "A+" rated individual wants "real action backed by gun control advocates", eh? There's some real pro-gun leadership, there. That's a real Voice for Freedom in Washington. That's quite the dedicated defender of the Second Amendment. Right???

Bullcrap!!!!

Hey, Joe! How about we not pass any new gun controls at all? Law-abiding gun owners who fully understand the history and heritage of firearms in America will not accept any gun bans, any restrictions on our Right to Keep and Bear Arms, any infringements on our ability to defend ourselves against criminals and tyrants.

In fact, that's the wrong discussion!

Instead, let's start REPEALING gun bans. Start with the idiotic, misguided, and misnamed "Gun Free School Zones Act". Show some real leadership, Joe. Repeal it. For the children.

Because, Joe, if letting teachers actually defend their students saves even one life, it's worth it.

Right?

Joe?

It is easy to BAN something.(Soda, Guns, High Capacity Magazines, Ammo)
Enforcement is the Big Problem (remember Probation?) Will we end up with Boot Leg Guns & Ammo??

Will the Fed’s come and break down our doors, shoot our Dogs, Search & Seize our papers, computers, Guns, Ammo, Bibles & books all without a lawful warrant?

Then what? Will they come for you & your Wife and Kids?
Will they make you get on the Train for a ride to the work camp after they have taken ALL of your Money, Car, House and everything you have worked so very hard to get.

When will we wake up and Draw the line in the Sand and say No more, you will not pass this line. They will not break the 2nd Amendment, they will NOT TAKE MY GUNs.

I feel that the end of the communists in the Democratic Party is about to end. So goes the corruption we have in Government. The Republicans should take note that there are millions of Americans that are getting real tired of this control over our lives. Guns will prevail, one way or another. Washington better wise up and damn quick.

One's right to self defense in our ever more dangerous world should be fairly easy to understand and to make personal and the threat to take that right away by politicians should be easy to understand and to make personal.

How do you make this personal? Easy...

For example, anyone who was smaller growing up, was picked on for being the new kid in school, different for whatever reason (fat, wore glasses, too poor/too rich, wrong race/color, too smart, too stupid, too ugly, too attractive etc.), is female and vulnerable, is a parent or guardian with kid(s) to protect, is older, is living alone, was a victim or robbery and/or assault, rape, etc. will have little trouble coming to a personal understanding of both the fear of becoming a victim and having the right to self protection taken away.

Starting from this reality...

Your enemy is anyone or anything that wishes to cause you and yours harm. Anyone or anything that increases your vulnerability and/or the danger you face is your enemy.

The truth of our world is this: we are one of three types - sheep, sheepdogs and wolves.

Look closely at the world we live in. "Top of the food chain" is an illusion. We are all "food" for something and, with or without self defense, we all are prey in a world of predators.

Our enemy is anyone or anything that makes us sheep and increases the wolves' the advantage.

When these bozos investigate the dangers of mental illness, they need to start with themselves.

Ain't THAT the truth...

McCarthy . . . has reintroduced the weapons ban every year since it expired.

This is different this time, people are more open to it,” she added."

in·san·i·ty

1. lack of reason or good sense: extreme foolishness, or an act that demonstrates such foolishness

2. psychiatric condition affecting legal circumstances: legal incompetence or irresponsibility that results from a psychiatric disorder

Synonyms: foolishness, irrationality, senselessness, absurdity, folly, recklessness, stupidity, craziness

Ahh, yep, that's a pretty good fit.

"...supporters face an uphill climb in a Congress stacked with Republicans and moderate Democrats who support Second Amendment rights..."

And that's a bad thing?

It's a sad commentary on the state of our culture to see any journalist formulate a thought such as the one above. It simply drips with reflexive condescension for one of the primary foundational blocks of our country -- the God-given, inalienable right to keep and bear arms.

The writer speaks of congressional reps who support the Constitution as though they're merely a political voting block, lined up in opposition to fellow lawmakers, who simply support a different angle of attack on some arcane and boring issue that is of little consequence to ordinary Americans.

The writer is obviously so thoroughly indoctrinated into the leftist mindset that he's blind to not only our history and the historical underpinnings of our culture, but also any view which runs counter to the Marxist dogma he's been marinating in, his whole life.

We're not even real to such people.

Time to cowboy up and call and write. The first war is with words. Let’s end it there.

My Congressman, Rep. Barrow (D-GA) is on the record as pro-2A and is on record as “will not support any new gun legislation.”

Barrow also voted against the Fiscal Cliff Bill so that makes him more Conservative than most Republicans in the House.

I wrote and called him today anyway. Just to remind him that we are out here.

The progressives are staging this exactly the way they want.
Take away guns. Use healthcare to send people to prison. Their final step will be the American Holocaust.

Obama extends presidential power in bypassing Congress on gun control

mosesdapoet to Innovative

FIRST YOUR MONEY THEN YOUR GUNS
ALL DEMOCRATS ARE
GOD DENIERS AND CONGENITAL LIARS
Conservatives and supporters of the 2nd amendment the Obama regime is using the 2nd amendment argument to blame gun owners for its inability to deal with the hundreds of gangland murders and shootings commited in areas under their solid control using illegally obtained firearms.

Obama’s solution to those inner city problems is to remove those rights provided by the constitution to have and bear arms from all US citizens.
None of those 23 so called “reforms” and unconstitutional efforts being edicted by who some call an emperor do not deal with the following issues briefly outlined below .

They won’t and don’t instead of creating a uniformly democratic society where every citizen has an equal voice no matter what their race or ethnicity.

Obama’s policies have divided races and ethnic groups gerrymandering congressional districts where much of this criminal activity occurs. GOPES {goverment of the people (republican party) elites} see this issue as a 3rd rail because most of it is black on black or illegal vs illegal (Mexican) activity .

GOPES are also afraid to say that policy also increased racial tension which has resited in deaths. But again GOPES accept this because of the influence of mainline socialist media which would be accusing them of “racism” if they dare to question it.

The purpose of all this hype on guns is to keep the right and conservatives focused on what the Demo-Coms describe as issues through their propaganda arm known as the MSM (mainline socialist media) not on the problems created by the “Libs” on their road of good intentions or the socialist/fascists/communists successors to comtrol over todays Democrat party; Which is the cost ,waste, and corruption of his administration which had led to a 16 trillion dollar deficit.

Not one word will address or offer a solution about the hundreds of gangland murders and shootings using illegaly obtained mostly handguns and revolvers .Using code words like “assault rifles” which are really single shot per trigger pull semi automatic rifles, used for small game hunting or target practice. That are legal in every state but made to look like their military counterpart..Called AR’s since Viet Nam and a DOD decision ARs are really medium caliber (22.3) machine guns designed to wound not necessarilly kill which is why they are automatic and fire as many rounds that are in its magazine once the trigger is kept in the pulled position. .They replace quick kill 30 caliber semi automatic (single shot) M-1, Springfield rifles and carbines used during WWII and Korea and approved in most states for use in big game hunting.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2977901/posts NY Post pix of shooter using handgun

Obama certainly can’t critique a system created by his ilk .Ignored in his 23 edicts is that when once caught, perps get set free with lenient sentencing from “liberal” judges or sob sister plea bargain prosecution (which Obama supports for when a Illinois state senator while introducing legislation to sentence any 15 year old as an adult, Obama voted “absent” with others on roll call ) promoted by the MSM,The New York Times CNN, NBC and,ABC. There’s certainly no criticism of “no snitch” mentality partcularly in areas where these shootings are rampant.

It would be nice at these rallys if speakers would point these facts out to Obamas adoring public.
