The NAACP's New York state branch and the Hispanic Federation have joined beverage makers and sellers in trying to stop the rule from taking effect March 12. With a hearing set Wednesday, critics are attacking what they call an inconsistent and undemocratic regulation, Better ban 40 oz. malt liquor bottles too!

Like poor folks (a/k/a minorities) can afford to buy fancy bottled water, Starbucks lattes, juices, etc.

"It would be irresponsible for (the health board) not to act in the face of an epidemic of this proportion," the city says in court papers. Big Brother says "Your fat is our business. Get down and give me ten!"

If someone really wanted to reduce the overweight factor, we would have a return to more straight-forward options for sugar based drinks rather than the high fructose corn syrup and weird “diet” stuff.
Think back to when they introduced corn derivatives instead of sugar around the 70’s and the before and after of the overall weight of people in this country.
Your body knows what to do with sugar and when you drink or eat too much, your body tells you it’s had enough. With the HFCs and the weird diet stuff, your body doesn’t recognize that stuff as “too much” so people keep eating and drinking.

does everybody notice that the elites NEVER talk about the most expensive health care issue per capita...hiv/aids...because one just can't sermonize or restrict the homos activity...you can't even suggest limiting partners or abstaining...
while they go after cigarette smokers, they never go after pot users, which is far more harmful...
its good to be king...
