Do I understand this article correctly? Did the Republicans just say that there is no national debt limit at all for the next three months? Did the Republicans just say that Obama Can borrow as much money as he wants without any further consent from Congress?

If yes, then the REPUBLICANS just declared that Obama has the complete power of the purse for 3 entire months. A huge violation of the principles of the Separation of Powers, and probably an unconstitutional delegation of a power to the executive branch.

Are there any restrictions on Executive power here at all? What is going to stop the Obama Administration from borrowing as much money over the next three months so that he never needs to ask Congress for money ever again?

That's what I got out of it after reading 3 articles from various conservative publications.

They didn't raise it to 17.8 trillion. They didn't put a limit on it at ALL. Just what Obama demanded, that he have control of the debt limit.

Hope I'm wrong, REALLY hope so. But I don't think I am.
