Egypt's president is a current member of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood is the ideological parent of Al Queda and other violent Jihadist groups waging war against the U.S. in particular and the West in general. As recently as 2010, President Morsi labelled Jews as "descendants of apes and pigs." The current administration rightly called those remarks "deeply offensive." We have no reason to believe Mr. Morsi does not still hold those beliefs, protestations to the contrary notwithstanding. He has recalled no transformative event which caused him to change his thinking. Thus, Egypt's Morsi should not receive any more American weapons when there is the real possibility that our armed forces may someday face our own weapons systems in another Middle Eastern theater.
Signed! Started off the day doing something good. Thanks for the opportunity.
“...there is the real possibility that our armed forces may someday face our own weapons systems in another Middle Eastern theater.”
Silly stuff.
I mean, that’s the whole point of the exercise.
It’ll be impossible for Obama’s pals, the Moslems, to take over the planet without modern weaponry, and who better to provide it than Obama himself.
Thi petition will go nowhere; the Moslems, all over Planet Earth, will obtain from our president all they need to wage jihad against us and all Western nations; and there will be a statue in every Moslem country to commemorate Obama’s role in the takeover.
Bet the farm on it.
Do they ship them together with competent pilots?
Thanks FreedomFighter1013.
Alas, the Muslim Brotherhood’s in the Oval Office, so there’s no point to signing this.
Online petitions are completely meaningless to our form of government. I guess you could call it sending a message but its a message that will be ignored.
If you want to send a legitimate petition to government, you’re going to have to go through legal means and hit the streets with actual printed petitions and collect hand written signatures with dates and addresses.
Sign it anyway. The truth is, there’s no point in them shipping the planes, either. I’ve seen how Arabs drive plain old automobiles, and we have very little to worry about, either in Israel or the US. But it’s the principle of the thing.
If the deal goes through, lets pray each F-16 has a remote self-destruct! Islam would use these planes on suicide missions w/ a basic trained islamic Muslim Brotherhood idiot in the cockpit.
Exactly. They’re still nothing but a message sent but its a message to people with the power to block presidential action. They should be backed up with phone calls and letters.
Also, if you petition the dictator, the dictator’s minions will be the ones counting the âsignaturesâ, and the total will be insignificant.
Signed!
This White House petition stuff reminds me of the Mars Attacks movie where the attackers say we come in peace. The White House set up this petition process to give the allusion they care. They don’t.
If not, a heat-seeking missile in the fuselage will cut any suicide mission short.
This little barry basatrd boy is the enemy of The Republic. He is a not-so-closet mooselimb enabler and is a continuing threat to world peace as he supports and enables tyhe rise of radical Is slime. Sadly, the republicants and harry reid criminal enterprise will not uphold their oaths and impeach the sonofabitch!
Thanks, will do.
Almost a day has passed since your post, the petition only has 24 signatures... I was #24
Let’s see if I got this right, I’m a retired Marine who has fought for this country and I can’t buy this stuff. But the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood (an avowed enemy of the United States) can buy this military hardware. Yes, we truly are living in 1984 where down is up and up is down.
I've been watching the demonstration in Cairo live. It is huge. This is a powder keg waiting to go off. Now that it is night, they have the assault weapons out. Earlier you could see the size of this crowd. They panned the whole area and the crowd went on for miles and miles.
