PEW research said the average poll now depends on a miniscule 9% response rate.
That means that if the members of a special interest group simply ALWAYS answer the calls from pollsters, their opinion will register 11 Times their actual percentage of the sampled population!
For example, we just now got a call from a special interest group interested in drug rehabilitation ~ I elected to be among the 91% whose opinion wasn't actually reflected and not the 9% who answer their questions.
The Paulistas should jump for joy!
