Man calls 911 10 times, seeks ride to Mexico, deputies say

An Immokalee man was arrested after calling 911 10 times, asking for a ride to Mexico, deputies say.

Alvaro Francisco, 26, of the 100 block of Madison Avenue in Immokalee, was arrested just after midnight Saturday by Collier County sheriff’s deputies at his home after the 10th call to 911. He faces a misdemeanor charge of misuse of 911.

Each time he called, the report stated, he said he needed a ride to Mexico, his friend’s house or his boss’s house. Each time he was advised, according to the report, that those requests are not an emergency and do not require 911.

Honestly, I’d have picked him up, strapped him to an inner tube and gave him a paddle and point the way to Mexico from the gulf shore.

I plan on becomign a mexican citizen, movign to mexico, then sneaking back across the boardetr- well, scratch that- I’ll call 911 and demand a ride into the US
