Actually leftists are full of bull s—— and nothing else. They have all these so called programs to help people but the programs do nothing for the betterment of people. The only betterment comes from giving some liberal, lazy slob a job with the government. The leftists/socialists love to list a long list of benefits they provide but it’s mostly crap. Believe me, I have tried to help patients with government programs - not much luck. The only time we get help is from the private sector and Christian organizations - the very people the liberal idiots hate worse than conservatives.

I do beleive you- They are so full of crap it’s comign otu hteir ears- I jsut do NOT udnerstand how America has fallen for the obvious BS though- America eitherm ust be udner a powerful delusion (such as the bible talks about in teh end times) OR, they KNOW the truth but simply just flat out reject it because truth involves TRUE sacrifice, while evil they think invovled free stuff for them- the left is abotu promissing free stuff, gettign hte votes, then renegging on thta promise, and actually takign the extra money thwey colected in higher taxes o nthe promise that the money woudl go to the free stuff, and keepign hte money for themselves-

Cuomo’s father shut down many of the psych centers in the state when he was Governor. The residents were tossed out on the street, and were supposed to receive out-patient treatment. The result was an increase in crime that overloaded the state’s prison system. During the mid 80’s, a large number of old psych centers were turned into prisons, and towards the end of that decade, new cookie-cutter prisons were being built as well. Because of overcrowding, back in ‘88-89, several of the newly constructed prisons ended up with inmates bunking in the gym buildings. At one time, there were over 50 correctional facilities in the state. When I retired in 2003, the number of inmates with psychiatric problems in the prison system had increased so much they had to set aside specific buildings in prisons throughout the state to just house the mentally ill.
At one time NY State used to keep dangerous criminals behind bars even if they'd finished serving their sentence. They had special facilities for them. One was Matteawan State Hospital. Back in the early 60's, the State was sued, and the court's decreed that it wasn't a crime to be crazy, and ordered the release of all those dangerous criminals. NY has a long history of putting dangerous people back on the street.
