They will be on the streets. There will be more shootings and stabbings. The media will not link the increased violence to this stupid action.

The “inclusion” concept is being inserted into all elements of society by the progressives. To be “fair” to the person with issues, the must be inserted into the community without restriction or control. Great for the schizo but not so great for the hundreds who now need to suffer from the presence of a deranged one.

“court ruling that found institutionalizing the mentally ill in adult homes wrongly segregates them.”

Apparently having them sleep in a 7-11 parking lot is better?

What idiots do we have in the courts. If they are a harm to others they need to be segregated.

Sounds like the federal court judge at least has to share the blame, if not take it entirely. Cuomo is adjusting things so as to be in compliance with court orders, according to the news report.

Gee, I thought mental healthcare was going to be a priority vis-a-vis gun tragedies. I guess they meant mental healthcare unless somebody has to lift a finger or spend a dime.

And just try to get a booth at Denny's after 10:00pm after this goes into effect. Good thing the governor is looking out for the people after the Sandy Hook shooting.

Psychos are pushing people onto subway tracks faster than popcorn off a hot plate (among other things) and of course this is the typical liberal response: Do something completely illogical because the arrogant leftist agenda of trashing the constitution is more important.

I have to look at the sunny side of this stupidity...The more bad things that happen to New Yorkers, the sooner they may relate them with their ignorant government.

Not fair to the psych patient either. They will end up freezing to death, homeless.

The reason that the media ‘discovered’ the homeless and blamed Reagan for them is that his governorship coincided with a big push by the ACLU and similar meddlers for the de-institutionalization of vast numbers of psychiatric patients, who were to placed in ‘community care’ settings, AKA group homes. Of course, nowhere near enough ‘community care’ beds were available, so they ended up going off of their meds and pushing shopping carts. (Remember when that was a big lib thing - let’s buy the homeless shopping carts?)

Now Cuomo wants to eliminate whatever vestige remained of ‘community care’. How compassionate! You are now free to be consumed by your inner demons and die a lonely death on the street.

When the revolution comes, may God have mercy on these scum politicians, ‘cause I won’t.

Unfortunately, urban liberals are so far gone that their only reaction bad news of any sort is that they need the government to fix it. Even if the government is the problem.

Whether it is violence, poverty or crime you will find liberals’ fingerprints all over it as a major contributing factor.

They want to take our guns but they won’t attack the real problems, one being the mentally ill on the streets. We have a young kidney transplant patient who had a very tramatic year. He and his sister were taken from their mother because she lost her job and their apartment. He was put in a group home with delinquents who bullied and threatened him. His sister was put in foster care. He is back with his mom now but in and out of pyc hospital and on pyc meds - prozac. He becomes violent and hits walls with his fists. They will only keep in the hospital a few days at a time. In other words, he can’t get any REAL help. He is a good boy who, because of the screwed up health system, may have a bad ending. I get livid when I think about liberal hyprocrites who are the base cause of all this.

Perhaps it’s all about setting up conditions for the civil disorder Obama needs to enact martial law.

Sounds like the hospital should discharge them to the home of the closest Federal Judge.
