Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's (R-Ky.) campaign is calling for supporters to back his opposition to expanded gun controls, warning in a new email that "they're coming for your guns."
"You and I are literally surrounded. The gun-grabbers in the Senate are about to launch an all-out-assault on the Second Amendment. On your rights. On your freedom," the email opens.
It goes on to warn that "our freedom is under direct assault ... from those who want to shred our Constitution."

Don’t pledge just DO IT. Talk is chaeap and they have fumbled the ball every day for 4 years makes me think they are on Obamas side.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we actually trusted these clowns firm when they say they will.

The RAts are still talking about changing the filibuster rules tomorrow. If they do, there will be no way to stop bad legislation.
In the future, there will be more shootings in this country just as sure as there are more mad men out there who will get guns no matter how many laws are passed or not passed.
However, when these future shootings occur, Obama can point at Republicans and say to his “low information” (read retarded) constituency, “It's the Republicans’ fault this shooting occurred. If they'd have passed the legislation I wanted, this shooting would never have occurred.”
Just as Liberals, with their “Global Warming” issue now blame Republicans for the weather, they'll now blame all future shootings on the Republican Party.
Oh, ok, Mitch, whatever.

Our side should take the ball and run.
Don't place defense. We should forward bills that would:
1) repeal the 1968 GCA
2) allow licensed CCW holders to receive direct shipments of firearms from dealers
3) allow gun purchases across state These don't have a chance of passing, but will give the libs heart attacks. Let it be known that every time an anti-gun bill is proposed, we will offer those as a counter-proposal. No more reacting - lances down and charge!

I doubt he knows that. None of us should be too sure of that either.
Nancy Pelosi wrote the Obamacare bill. Obama had complete control of both houses when it was passed. A gerbil should have been able to pass a bill at that time, as long as it was a Democrat gerbil.
