Breaking. Some of them MAY have escaped. If so, they are a lucky bunch for sure.

Am praying initial reports are wrong. This looks like the operation went wrong and all or most hostages have been killed whom were being held per initial reporting and feeds. Not certain who did exactly what yet. Number of possible scenarios numerous. Prayers up.

Consider the source. We can hope it is wrong.

Thirty-five hostages and 15 of their captors were killed in Algeria on Jan. 17 as they tried to move from one location to another at the facility where the hostages are being held, Al Jazeera reported on its Twitter feed.

So far this morning I’ve seen three conflicting reports- some hostages killed but “foreigners” escaped including Americans. Other reports say ALL hostages dead and the headline on DRUDGE at the moment asks “Where Are The Americans”?

My guess is obama did NOT want a hostage situation to distract from installing his leftist agenda and gave green light for the op. If it fails he blames them. If it succeeds he claims credit for plannimg it and assisting the algerians etc. Obama doesn’t care if they are dead or alive. He just wants it to go away.

Yep, get those troubling reports through the news cycle quickly, so he doesn’t have to think about them when he gives his inaugural address and state of the union coming up. That way he can freely talk about how he has single-handedly brought us gun reforms, immigration reforms, gay/lesbian reforms, etc., the list goes on and on.

A local source has told Reuters that six foreign hostages and eight rebels were killed in the Algerian strike on the gas complex. Again, we cannot confirm this.

9m ago

According to Mauritania’s ANI news agency, a spokesperson for the kidnappers says that seven western hostages are still alive: three Belgians, two Americans, one Japanese and one Briton.

We cannot verify this.

The spokesperson urged the oil company to intervene to treat the injured hostages, according to ANI.

An unspecified number of hostages escaped from Islamist militants in southern Algeria, the BBC reported Jan. 17, citing Algerian security officials. One official told AP that at least 20 foreigners, including Americans and Europeans, had escaped. Algeria’s private Ennahar TV said 15 foreigners escaped, while another security source told Reuters the total was 25

The Algerian army now controls the natural gas processing facility that had been seized by militants, an army official said Jan. 17, TSA reported. As the intervention in Mali continues, militants could flow across the Algerian-Malian border in ever increasing numbers, raising the likelihood of attacks against Westerners and energy infrastructure in the country.

nobama was too busy fondling children (not his own) and signing dozens of likely unconstitutional executive orders (prior to leaving for the golf course). The secy-of-state is stumbling around falling down somewhere, looking for another full decanter. As to the captives...you’re on your own...good luck!

Am I going nuts here or is the communist propaganda machine aka the MSM, completely ignoring all this? All last night, even on my local news channel, all they reported about was the admitted foreign born twice unconstitutionally elected POTUS (and supposed professor of constitutional law) practicing unconstitutional infringement on the 2nd amendment. Not one mention of what is happening in Algeria.

The bias is incredible here. Let us not report anything that will make the Imperial POTUS look bad. All they care about is taking away the law abiding individuals ability for defense because it worked so well in Benghazi didn’t it? Stand down!

We need to cover this up. It is embarrassing to Hillary. She must dispatch the FBI who just started their investigation a bit late on Benghazi. Maybe she will have another head ache over this failure of US policy.??think?

Just constant reporting on the professor of constitutional laws 2nd amendment infringement as if he were the Messiah coming down to save all the children.
