Maybe I misread the report. My alzheimers brain thought I read “east Village” or that it read Greenwich Village and somewhere else read “lower east side”.
That was probably my error, but it is how I came think it was the 14th street location and not the Macdougal Street one (they have a few more sites in town as well).
The Macdougal street location is a location that is both grimier than the 14th street location - less residential - and it is also probably busier at 5:AM on a Sunday morning.
