Katherine Webb came off as pretty sharp after her fame blew up during the BCS Championship Game, and she's smartly taking advantage of her instant celebrity.
Webb, Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron's girlfriend and Miss Alabama, announced on Twitter that she will be covering the Super Bowl for "Inside Edition." Maybe she wants a television career (she came off well during her "Today" show interview, for what it's worth), or maybe she wants to have some fun and get a free trip to New Orleans. Either way, good for her.

“she should send Musburger a Thank You card.”
She probably has more sense than to encourage him.
Thank you note, hell.....she owes him a case of the finest scotch on the planet.
She is quite attractive and us guys are going to be impressed over her (and that is putting it midly). As a guy, I expect Mr. Musburger to be somewhat in awe of her.
With her looks who cares if she knows anything about football! ;-)
I didn’t mean a Thank You card to encourage the guy. A woman as attractive as her probably knows how to handle guys acting goofy and telling her how she is pretty. I was speaking of the CAREER enhancement he just gave her...LOL! She will probably be a co-host of The View or Today Show in a few years.....
I don’t get why this is even a story
It’s a feel-good story. It’s always nice to see true journalistic talent rise to the top, rather than shallow-airheads.
PLEASE... not "the View."
Maybe the view....after a couple of babies out of wedlock and a weight gain of 66 pounds and a bad case of the bitchees.
Too rich for my blood.
See what can happen when a beautiful woman simply expresses appreciation call beautiful. Had she been offended by the comment, does anyone think this opportunity would be available?
Obviously thanks to her "talents".
That picture makes her look like she’s got a bigger package than Algore.
