SUVs, but they are registered with the gov't and you have a license to use.
That’s what I did years ago when asked by Dr. in CA. Said it didn’t have anything to do with my health, and I’ve been warning people about healthcare being used for gun control ever since. Guess now if you refuse to answer they will automaticaly put you down as crazy.
Doctor, what skeletons are in YOUR closet?
Of course. The health care system is now an agent of our government now. Why would this happen? They also are going to require all our records to be stored electronically...what could possibly go wrong?
No. That will be recorded, too.
There is only one option. Drs are now gov’t functionaries. Treat them as such...The State.
For the list.
Many doctors won’t ask. Mine is so distraught over the Obamacare crap that he will make it a point NOT to ask. And many doctors are NRA members and hunters-shooters them selves.
This is about as relevant as, “Do you have incandescent light bulbs in your home?”
Why don’t they force them to ask something meaningful which might protect children. “Are you a pedophile?” Wait, that’s the next protected class...
Just another answer to the question why can’t I find a Dr named Sam, or Bill, or Fred etc etc etc...
Rush pointed out the liability a Dr would have if it was ‘proved’ someone had visited him just prior to his going out and creating a scene.
So, if they don’t want all 12 barrels on the Fed on him he will have to err on the side of caution.
If you have the flu and say I feel terrible. If this doesn’t get better no telling what I will do.
Now it will be up to the Dr to analyze if you were bemoaning or suicidal or worse.......
Keep in mind that any doctor can report you as a danger and the sheriff will come by to collect your firearms.
You can’t even go to court to fight it.
If you are a treasonous Islamonazi jihadist who openly makes statements about beheading the infidel, you are a protected class and even after you kill over a dozen men, women, and children, your murderous rampage will be blamed on a "difficult workplace".
And apologists in the government will say it would be even a BIGGER tragedy if the military were to lose some of its diversity in the name of tolerating Islamic supramcists.
“Refuse to answer....” “Ditto!” It’s none of their business.
“Amendment IV, US Constitution: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable causes, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
I will ask the Doctor if he has a warrant.
Further, I will tell my RN wife that it is not her place nor responsibility to ask patients any questions about gun ownership, ammo storage, etc. She will defer to the Doctor to ask those questions. Therefore, she will not be held accountable for not having asked those questions when some nut-case goes off with a weapon.
In 1930's Germany, the new socialist government of Adolf Hitler (NAZI National Socialist Workers' Party) began indoctrinating children in the quasi-military organization, the Hitler Youth, to inform on their parents should they overhear discussions subversive to the policies of the Leader. As the noose was tightened, local community organizers were appointed to watch their neighbors and were told to report subversive comments to the bureaucrats above them. Neighbors informed on neighbors, some for reasons of patriotism or loyalty, some from fear. A modern inquisition ensued; a terror to free thought and expression. Increasingly harsh penalties were meted out to those who dared to dissent.
Play democrat just lie.
The appropriate thing to do is to refuse to answer, but you can always just say you don’t have any guns. That way they have asked you, you answered and there is nothing to report.
since doctors and the medical profession are screwed with obamacare, I think that there will be fewer to inclined to go along with these fascist mandates.
bobo
Just. Say. NO.
My 15 year old daughter was hospitalized for a few days before Christmas due to complications from her bone marrow disorder. (She is back to being stable and the problem has been resolved, et least for now.) One of the questions of the admitting nurse was “is your home safe?” The nurse seemed uncomfortable having to ask the question and I thought it was an odd sounding question. I wonder if it pertained to this issue. We are in for tough times ahead - thanks Obama voters/s
Obama has converted the medical profession into a TSA in scrubs. Doctors should not be surprised when folks treat them with the same disdain as they have for the blue-shirted gov’t gropers and thieves.
