6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers. I must have missed the part where private sales require background checks... guess he stopped short of that.

Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks. Like Fast & Furious, right?

#16 - Doctors will ask if you have guns in the home.
The whole purpose of this is to vilify gun owners and make them out to be lunatics.
Maybe we could start with asking if people are pedophiles? You know, people who really hurt children?
FUBO!

#14 is patently illegal. The prohibition against such research is currently the law of the land and will remain so until expiration of the current CR or the replacement or omission of the provision by some successive funding bill.

” 16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes”
He can’t do it. It’s already been stripped from ObamaCare®.

Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologiesHmmm. Why do I get the feeling that "challenge" here really means someting more like "force", "coerce", or otherwise "convince" the private sector to do this, whether the market is asking for it or not?

Now we know why the Hussein regime has been encouraging people to sign up for SSDI for mental health reasons, under the guise of running out of unemployment benefits. He wants to take away their guns for having psychological problems. Easy to do on this one.

One thing that comes through - if you want to keep your guns you better never seek medical help for any mental issues (even depression) you think you might have or for any substance abuse issues. If any issues like that hit your digital medical records database you will be SOL.

Pure political posturing...picking fights to build himself up and make proposals to give the impression he is accomplishing great things for the nation. A sad state of affairs that such “leaders” are given the public trust...

Mostly the list is pretty weak in substance.
By linking gun control to mental health hence obummercare, he can declare all gun owners as mentally ill.
The soviets favorite tactic was to label all dissidents as mentally ill to silence them
