I just confirmed from the NY voter roll that Bloomberg is NOT a Republican. As you say, getting a ballot line is nothing more than winning that party's primary ballot, and in both PA and NY you don't have to be a member of that party, just more famous evidently than the other candidates.

Who is "Mike Murphy, Republican consultant"? We have had decades of the left-wing media picking their favorite so-called Republicans and so-called conservatives to interview to make the GOP look bad. Remember he only changed to the Republican party from the rat party because he had no chance getting elected mayor when Rudy Guiliani couldn’t run anymore.
