In an acknowledgment that many people have suggested that part of the solution to gun violence is a better government response to mental illness, the legislation includes not only new restrictions on gun ownership, but also efforts to limit access to guns by mentally ill people.

This is a creeping dog we should all be aware of.

Sadly, I see some here falling for this as an answer to get the Government off of THEIR backs.

Who decides, Government appointed psychologists who have political agendas? What are the definitions and parameters?

Take their right, don't touch mine?

Cut spending, just don't cut my benefits ring a bell?

With Obamacare, practically anyone with access can put anything into your national database records and it will be there forever. There is no appeal process to remove erroneous information.

If somebody with access to your records thinks you're a nut (or has it in for you) and puts in your records you have mental problem - guess what? You are officially a nut! Permanently, in the eyes of the gun grabbers.

It's a great way to keep somebody from owning a firearm.

Three cheers for "free" health care!
