I think some fish wrapped in their own rag would be a good start.

A horse head on their bed would be better

I doubt there’s any way they can be found CRIMINALLY liable... but... pain and suffering caused by their irresponsible actions?

One can easily imagine the scene in some liability attorney’s office tomorrow morning: “Ashley, would you get me a phone number for these folks who just got their home broken into?”

Enough examples of that might put a company completely out of business. Just sayin’.

I mean, it seems to me these are consequences that could have been reasonably foreseen by anyone with one eye and half sense.

I doubt the story is true.

If I were a burglar, I would look for houses which did not have a gun.

That’s good news unless Judge Jeanine Pirro gets her hands on them first. Judge Pirro is really hot about this. I don’t blame her.

Awww.They’re sorry, didn’t mean THAT to happen.
You know a corner has been turned when the print media
has “accidentally” taken up where Fast and Furious left off.
Stuck on stupid, and potentially tragic.

I thought of her right off the bat. IF this was her home......................

Well then.

“The Affiliated Police Association of Westchester County Inc. is putting The Journal News on notice that we will hold [them] accountable for any incident where any of our over 25,000 members are involved with an incident where a criminal or ex-con presents themselves at the residence of one of our members as a result of their name being made public by [their] newspaper,” said Buckley.

The Affiliated Police Association of Westchester will be holding a press conference on January 15, 2013 at the Westchester County Courthouse located at 111 Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, White Plains, N.Y. at 1:00 p.m.

Not if you wanted to steal a gun.

That’s because you’d be a “let’s grab some stuff and not get shot” kind of burglar.

There are other burglars who think, “Hmmm... Guns. Good. Let’s just wait until the owner is away, and then it’s payday.”

It is the homes without guns I would be worried about. Easy enough to check addresses on streets to see if they were gun owners.

IIRC, tarring and feathering also involved stripping the person naked first, and setting the feathers on fire and giving them a chance to run to the nearest body of water to survive.

Sounds like a potential class action suit, if there are any more troubles.

Not when AR's are selling for $3000 and handguns are rising. Try to get $3k for a big screen TV or laptop. Jackpot!

Class action, baby!

Guy whose house was burglarized was damaged, due to membership in the class of people whose residences were mapped.

Everyone in the class was damaged, with the damage to show up later. Like asbestos, like tobacco, except that asbestos and tobacco have some good side to their use.
