LOL real good!
The problem with the left is if we don’t create meaningful jobs for them like digging holes and then filling them up they always get into trouble.Five year olds all of them.
Pretending that madmen are harmless and integrating them into society in the name of diversity needs to stop. They should be isolated from us, their victims, and treated humanly in secure institutions. Unfortunately, that won’t happen because it’s too expensive.
You’ve got the best graphics as well bud, keep up the great work.
Best award I have had all week,LOL thanks onyx!
(Thanks rodguy!!)
Why you are very welcome, FRiend!
And you know what? I agree with you, LOL!
Damn, I never thought of it that way, but you’re right!
It’s like when Congress is NOT in session, then we can all breath a sigh of relief.
You got post #100! A trophy was in order! LOL.
CONGRATULATIONS!
I’m hoping for a better, more interesting slate of guests next week.
God bless and keep you all.
Watching the video of CBS, Face the Nation
Stanley McChrystal on Face the Nation - has no problem with Chuck Hagel. Believes a term of national service for our youth is important for our nation. It doesn’t have to be in the miltary. It will help pull people together from different walks of life (lower/middle/upper classes).
THis guy sounds like a liberal.
Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa on Face the Nation - There is a push for comprehensive immigration reform - time is now - not only a moral issue but an economic issue. Must be a pathway to FULL citizenship. Must be bi-partisan. Is happy with McCain and other “repub’s” in the Senate working on this issue.
On gun issues - after Newtown we can do this. We need a universal background check. This will help get guns out of the hands of people who don’t need them. Need to update/beef up “mental health registries”. As far as guards in schools - Mayor V.... says LA has the guards already. Doesn’t agree with the NRA that we should be arming our teachers.
Doesnt agree with the NRA that we should be arming our teachers......Why not? We don’t have a firefighter in every classroom, but we do have fire extinguishers.
That’s a good point. He must not trust them with guns.
McCain is not pleased with withdrawal from Afghanistan.
After 9/11 we went after terrorism. Under obama, though, we are disengaging.
Scheiffer - asks about Hagel - shouldn’t you give the President the people he chooses for these positions? McCain says usually the president will confer with the other side before they nominate someone. obama has not done that. Points out various ways Hagel is not satisfactory - surge, Iran, etc.
John Brennan - we need to know more about him....on torture, on leaks, etc.
McCain says no, on Assault weapons ban. How do you prevent crazies from slaughtering others. Norway had some of the most stringent gun laws, yet one man was able to kill so many.
Guns are a tool just like fire extinguishers are a tool.
......just like the mayor is a tool... :-)

Good suggestions. One of the first things they should do is to overturn laws that make schools gun-free zones. Right now every person intent on harming a large number of people KNOWS that schools are gun free zones. Whether a school had armed teachers/guards or not, at least a potential shooter wouldn’t know whether he would meet resistance if these laws were overturned.
Classic!!!
You don't have to shout.
Oh wait, yes you do.
Hahahaha!!!!
I think he is a liberal, too. He was sandbagged by an article written by a reporter who was ‘embedded’ with his staff. At a meeting in Europe, possibly Brussels, tongues were loosened at a social occasion. I’m sure that McChrystal thought he was one of the ‘good’ guys, so would get a good write-up. Oops! The reporter was a classic leftie, to whom all people in uniform are looked on as objects of ridicule and contempt.
i like the suggestion made by someone on a radio talk show. Require any teacher who aspires to executive position to pass a gun proficiency course. Whether or not that person is armed at the school is not advertised. A similar situation to the US Air Marshals.
One side effect of this qualification is that more men (?conservatives) might join the education system.
If a teacher already has a concealed carry permit it is absolutely criminal to forbid them from taking their gun to work.
TANDEN: Well, the universal background check is really important. Right now, 40 percent of guns sold in the United States don't have any check system. That's more than Swiss cheese full of holes, you know? So, we really need to address that challenge.
I think that -- those are areas, where, again, gun owners support a comprehensive gun check system. So, I think that's an area where, hopefully, there can be some bipartisan support. Some of these issues are going to be tougher. But I think once the president engages in a conversation with the American people, he has shown time and time again that when the American people get engaged, that's how you change Washington.
Right now, 40 percent of guns sold in the United States don't have any check system.
I wonder where she got that statistic ... and is she including bulk sales to the military, law enforcement organizations and foreign governments in that statistic or is it from some flawed study financed by the gun grabbers
All Sunday news shows are moderated by democrats - even Fox Sunday. I don't watch any of them anymore. Would a liberal watch Sunday morning shows if every one of them was moderate by conservatives? Not a chance. Why should we?
When Tim Russert was alive NBC had something to offer - now NBC's got a ‘gee whiz aren't dems wonderful’ elite in that chair. Wide eyed and enthusiastic doesn't substitute well for intellect and integrity - like Russert had...
And Fox had more to offer with Tony Snow - and Hume than Wallace. Wallace is dem lite... and that bit about quoting something someone said 10 years ago and acting all ‘gotcha’ over the fact that people change position over decades gets old - fast. ABC is too hopeless to critique...
Maybe in a few weeks...
