My sister worked in foster care and the stories she told me made my hair stand up.

I am always amazed that AIDS/HIV which is almost wholly a preventable illness is never targeted by the same people who want to limit our salt, sugar, fat etc because of how much it costs the healthcare system.

AIDS/HIV costs est $350,000 lifetime per person. That is a lot of money!

As I’m sure you know, the reason the folk who care about how much soft drinks or salt we consume, or how many cigarettes we smoke look the other way when it comes to highly contagious/deadly HIV/AIDS, is that its largest constituency group is overall very wealthy and politically powerful with all kinds of time on their hands to lobby, and knows no bottom to the depths they will plumb to destroy any who oppose them.
