In this case, though, you’ve got a friendly media who don’t want their boy touched, an Attorney General who looks the other way, and a Left-leaning Senate and Congress who are in the bag.

What is *Lyon’s* source for this info? This idea of what happened has been floating around for some time, but (although I find the idea highly plausible), as of yet I’ve seen no proof. Does Lyons have something? Or is he just surmising? He is a retired officer with great credibility (read his Wiki page to be impressed!) but he is also political — has been a speaker at CPAC, etc. Anyway, I’d love it if this can be PROVEN but where is the informant who will stand up and take oath that this is so???
