How about the word combination: "Communist Organizer." ?
Actually the community organizer is worse than a communist agitator, because the communist declares his intentions openly, whereas this Chicago community organizer hides his communist intentions and poses as a centrist, and therefore more dangerous. But I understand what you are saying.
