“In the words of the great 19th century French political economist Frederic Bastiat, When misguided public opinion honors what is despicable and despises what is honorable, punishes virtue and rewards vice, encourages what is harmful and discourages what is useful, applauds falsehood and smothers truth under indifference or insult, a nation turns its back on progress and can be restored only by the terrible lessons of catastrophe.”
What a prescient and pertinent quote from history that all should consider before supporting a single additional measure by the Obama Regime or its clones throughout the left in the US.

You walk over to the TV, turn it off or switch to a sitcom or sporting event - and sit back down to finish your meal in peace. No on/off button on the remote control?

Just one more hit and I’ll quit forever. I promise. The demand for free stuff is infinite.

What we have done is to continue to spend our children’s and our grandchildren’s future earnings so that a lot of people won’t have to work today.
Also, we decided that the act of punishing investors and employers makes us feel better than other measures that would actually result in increasing revenues to the treasury.
