[snip] ...he will head up the Schwarzenegger Institute for Public Policy at University of Southern California, a think tank designed to explore “post-partisan” politics and global challenges. Among the luminaries working alongside him are former Mexican President Vicente Fox, Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann, former U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Henry Cisneros and Nobel Prize-winning climate change scientist Rajendra Kumar Pachauri. His movies are just fun, that’s it.

No thanks. After his miserable stint in politics, I don’t think I could stand even watching some of his old movies again. They just wouldn’t be the same, I’m afraid.

He can think?

You have to watch Predator at least once a year. I’m pretty sure it’s in the Geneva Convention...

I wouldn’t pay a dime to see that moron unless he was getting on a plane back to Austria.
To: fatnotlazy
No, he cannot think. He makes his living pretending to be other people. His foray into politics was a good example of what you see when a monkey climbs up a pole.

Remember when there was talk that Arnold could be the first foreign born POTUS? Too late there Arnold. Somebody beat ya too it.

I’ve tried watching some of his reruns. Most of them are cringe worthy and I cannot figure out why he was every popular in the first place.

Eh, I’ll pass. I’ll watch an Arnie movie if it comes on tv (i.e. watch it for free), but I will never spend another dime for anything he’s involved in, movie or otherwise. I simply cannot support him after his commutation for Esteban Nuñez (convicted murderer and son of Arnie’s closest Democratic political ally). The “governator” didn’t even have the guts to let the victim’s family know ahead of time. Scumbag.

I saw the trailer for “The Stand”. I hope he never comes out in favor of gun control. It would be the epitome and full definition of hypocrisy...

Clint Eastwood on the other hand has aged gracefully and plays realistic roles as an old man.

With a mid January opening and a September opening they know he’s not a star. Those are both dump zones for also ran movies. Especially January.
