If gun-free zones are good enough for our children, they should be good enough for our feral government overlords.

I’m sorry — but what good will a petition do?

If this is to get 25k in the next couple of weeks, it might be boosted with cross links to facebook and other outlets. Anybody know if there is a related facebook page?

I don’t think so. How do you do it?

I must admit this is the first time I’ve opened one of these WH petitions threads.

I assumed it was folks making fun of the liberal idiots who would think signing a WH petition (or any other petition for that matter) would change anything.

Surely conservatives are not falling for the same thing....

not falling for the notion that it changes anything;

it’s merely applying a thorn on the one hand, and rallying 25,000+ people on another to apply it.

IMHO, that makes it worth it... cost is a few seconds per person and a few bits on the net.

Respectfully, this is an awful idea.

We WANT the CIC to be fully protected and that's that.

Please abandon this foolish and childish petition. It hurts all gun owners, and helps gun confiscators.

It’s things like boehners hapless leadership, as exhibited with recent moronity, that makes republicans, and thus conservatives, look like loons.

This petition in comparison is totally benign.

It it illustrating the absurdity of gun-free zones.

Agreed.

If conservatives are to win they must win on ideas..not matching the antics of the idiots of the GOP and those on the left.

Folks are craving serious people who have serious ideas.

They are sick of a country run by the same ideas that got these folk's elected student body president in high school.

IMHO Conservatives cant advance their cause by imitating the left they can only do so with simple ideas, simply stated that are simple to implement

I’m sorry — but what good will a petition do?

For many fed up Americans it's a way to tell the usurpers there are those of US that believe in the Constitution and we believe it is our duty to disarm those whose actions prove themselves the enemies of the Constitution.

That these leftists can go to work everyday and steal our freedom piece by piece and not read a word nor hear a rumble of discontent must keep our domestic enemies smiling around the clock.

Don't tell me you haven't seen the pictures of Obama's victory grin. Don't tell me you couldn't tell it was a different kind of grin than say, the smiles Reagan shared after he took the left to school.

The domestic enemies are coming hard at US. They are already saying they didn't take enough of our money. What they really want is our spirit. I'm not willing to give them that.

Allowing these freedom sucking elitist cretins to deny US the means to protect ourselves and our children in the manner they expect US to provide for theirs is not what any American worth their salt should accept.

Do I think by signing this petition the course of our Nation set by the scurrilous leadership will be changed? No. Not right away.

But at least I took the opportunity to let those who would rather serve a down low king know it might be early but the fight is on.

It will never happen..

You’ll end up with some spiffy white house e-mails to show for it though!

I think its ok for all of us good, reasonable people to be a little more obnoxious, and in-your-face. I think its time for a few of us to be unreasonable, inflexible and maybe a little ridiculous. Is this petition stupid? You bet it is! But liberal gun control laws are far more stupid and harmful.

I completely understand wanting to take the high ground and be the better person with the better ideas, but the truth is the libs know they can use that mentality against us and they do year after year. Nice guys DO finish last. I used to think that was a horrible saying but now I know its true. And I am much more accepting when I hear about a conservative doing something loud that will surely label him a racist, bigot, woman hating, homophobe, religious, gun-nut. I say GO for it!

I think this is an excellent way for the Obama goons to log the IP of all those who dare to resist.

I choose to lay low and voice my opinions in other ways.

Rules for Radicals #5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon."

My plan is to get Drudge to pick it up. If it goes over 25,000 I am betting he will. I've been sending it to him.

If it goes viral, it's an embarrassment, and it illustrates the absurdity of gun-free zones.

We need to start using their own tactics against them or they will continue to win.

good luck with that.

It’ll never make it to the low information voter. And the few that do won’t understand it.
