They should have voted no to both bills.

Government isn’t charity.

The people of NJ, NY, and CT spend at the state and local levels like drunken sailors and they always vote to spend and tax at the federal level. They do not prepare for a “rainy day” and have no rainy day fund because they are broke from spending so much on their damn liberal causes. I don’t give a shit about how small the amount relief fund is in terms of the federal budget. We already spend a trillion dollars more per year than we take in at the federal level - thanks to liberals in NJ, NY and CT. Either conservatives take care of business in NJ, NY and CT on their own or move away.

I already pay enough money in taxes. I intentionally do not live in a flood plain or in an area prone to natural disasters. That is the responsible thing to do if I do not want to pay for a disaster. I certainly do not want anyone to have their money confiscated under threat of force and inprisonment to pay for my lack of preparation. There are enough people in NY, NJ and CT to take care of their own if individuals want to be reckless and do not plan.

Don't ask my children and grandchildren to start their lives off further in debt because of liberals. My new congressman did the right thing. More Republicans need to be conservative and do the right thing and stand up for people like Scott Perry or he will become just another RINO and our nation will be further doomed.

Note: I didn't say anything about pork in the bill. That is because I never read anything in the US Constitution that gives a power to the federal government to be a charity. I suggest you read our constitution, particularly the 10th Amendment.

In these ‘sensitive times’, allow me to take umbrage at the term ‘Drunken Sailors’.
Sailors, my self included, may be Drunken but never just waste money as pols seem to be want to do.
Why is it today ‘we’ are able to call Irish and Sailors derogatory names, yet we have pretty much stopped ‘picking on’ Polish, Italians and especially Middle Easterners.

So, as a (white...hmmm) Male, of Irish Descent and a (former) Sailor I wish people would cease and desist.

Thank You.

The Empire and Gardens States push a lot of revenue and investments into PA. And that includes the good folks from Staten Island that you apparently believe are reckless.
