Gotta remember to start packing duct tape in my carry-on.
I ALWAYS have roll of duct tape in my carry on when I fly. For THIS reason, and because few things are more useful on a trip then duct tape.
Suitcase breaks, handle breaks, curtain in room lets in light, forgot mount for GPS, duct tape is the answer....
I've been doing that for a while now, but I have a reason (that I send a box ahead with my clothes and stuff and need to repack it for the trip home - saves on bag fees and messing with luggage at the airport). But you're right, it would be very helpful to the flight crew in the event of an incident such as this.
How did they cut it? Did someone smuggle nail clippers on board?
