Just one day removed from the House, Barney Frank says he wants to get back to Washington.
Frank, speaking today on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” said he told Gov. Deval Patrick he wants to be interim senator when Sen. John Kerry is named secretary of state.
“A month ago, or a few weeks ago, I said I wasn’t interested,” Frank said, according to a transcript of his appearance on Politico.com. “It was kind of like you’re about to graduate, and they said: ‘You gotta go to summer school.’ But (the fiscal cliff deal) now means that February, March and April are going to be among the most important months in American financial history.”
Frank added: “I’ve told the governor I would now like, frankly, to do that (serve as interim senator).”

OMG! Haven’t we had enough of this rump ranger? The damage he did in the house would be nothing compared to what he could do in the senate. Of course it is the bastion of liberty, Mass, we are talking about. Well known for electing and re-electing killers and drug addicts in to office. Maybe he and kathy griffith could hook up. I guess her attempt at converting andy cooper didn’t work out so well on NYE. Gross would be an understatement.
Call your senators and congress critters and demand they oppose difi’s latest attempt to overturn the Bill of Rights.
