Agreed. I'd just go after the politicians first. Whether this was an 'innocent mistake', or intentional crafting of the law to provide kickbacks to the politician's buddy - I don't know. The primary issue is that our government is involving themselves in programs that they have no Constitutional business to be touching.
Unfortunately, this graft is so ingrained in Washington D.C., that it will probably require an asteroid to flatten the place to change anything...
Wouldn't want that to happen. I'd hate to lose the contents of the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress...

Growing up in western New York, I knew many Canadians who'd moved here to find work in the sixties when there was none in Ontario. Funny. Doesn't happen anymore.
