The writer interviewed an oncologist, a cancer doctor? So I don’t think this is a doctor at all involved in her treatment.
Plus the article says the clot is in a vein behind the ear. Which leads one to “assume” the auricle vein, which leads to the jugular and then to the lungs. So a pulmonary embolism is at risk, not a stroke.
Not sure if it helps or not, but oncologist is also a hematologist per google search. See post 16 for addl. info...
Makes one wonder if there is something behind the National Enquirer piece...
