OBAMA SCUTTLES 'FISCAL CLIFF' DEAL?
Breitbart TV ^ | December 31, 2012 | Mike Flynn

Posted on 12/31/2012 12:08:16 PM PST by cruise_missile

This afternoon, in one of the more bizarre appearances of his presidency, Barack Obama gave a televised address to a room full of supporters on the "fiscal cliff." He broke no news, but mocked Congress, and hinted at future tax hikes. Observers worried that he may have deliberately scuttled a potential agreement.

Even though he has come off his last campaign for political office, President Obama acted like a candidate on the campaign trail--one prepared to use whatever political capital he had accumulated to take shots at the opposition in Congress at the very moment leaders from both sides are trying to work together.

Barack the Kenyan wants EVERYBODY to pay higher taxes. He may be dumb but he’s not stupid. He knows forcing “the rich” to pay higher taxes amounts to a fart in a tornado. He needs more money from the “little people”. That’s where all the money is.

The Republican Party is finished; dead as the Whigs. Only question is what/who will replace it?

Some kind of Tea Party organization, maybe with Palin as a major leader. We need some people who run for office that will call out the marxists in Washington. Romney and Rove did not have the guts for it.

The Corner at National Review has the details of what's been leaked so far. Couples below 450K would have the current rate made permanent.

This is perfect. Obama has been a broken record since his first campaign through today: "Raise taxes on high earners." Now that's done and we're still $1T in the hole for the year, $16T overall. So now what? We called your bluff and you've got nothing.

The emperor's disgusting nude body will be on display. Anything he whines about now the opposition can say: "We raised taxes like you said and it solved nothing."

I zeroed in on my GOP congressman today and said in no uncertain terms that he will be vigorously opposed if he votes for ANY increase in taxes now during a recession.

The republicans caved years ago when they allowed this battle to be deferred. It was all part of their plan to NOT GET BLAMED. What is more amazing than Obama’s reelection is that a majority of republicans were re elected.

You guys say that but next time you'll go ahead and donate anyway because the GOP-e is "less worse than the Kenyan" -- which is somewhat true but then nothing ever changes.

I think I donated once to someone in the 1980s.

Dems have something we will never have, and that is the media..the media to do their bidding..the media to cheer for them and regurgitate their talking points..the GOP will never have that..yes we have most of Fox News but we don’t have the rest of the media on our side..and because of this the GOP caves over and over and over again..we have no one in power with a damn backbone..too afraid of being called a “racist” by the left..put me in Washington I could give a rats ass what they call me, I would NEVER vote for this nonsense, EVER..especially after seeing that schmuck go on TV and trash the GOP..I would never negotiate with terrorists..because that is what the Dem party are..TERRORISTS

“He hinted at future tax hikes.” No....you mean there is a future and he can make changes? I thought this was a one-time decision that was locked in stone. Gosh, the opponent can do things that you didn’t anticipate. Some people think tactically, some people think strategically.

There’s no such thing as a consolation prize in this bogus deal....but I’ll take the pony where I can find it. I’ve seen in print that it’s being called the Biden-McConnell deal, sidelining Harry Reid for the moment. If new media has anything to say...play up the fact that REID utterly failed.

DJI up 120- the fix is in.

Yes, this is what I see happening..

* Obama gets his red meat, aka his tax the rich.
* No new spending cuts.
* More borrowing from the Chinese, Berrnake-Twisting-Porkulus 5 or whatever his late trick is and...
* As Mark Levin said, the fix is in, the higher rates hit small businessmen and we will get a Corp Tax Rate cut in the near term that will still suck compared to Canada or the Czech Republic, but coming down to 25% will be Boob-Bait-for-Bubbas, and the Cronie Capitalist win and small business takes it in the shorts........

What a pile of suckage...

If the media is the problem, then we need to get rid of the media. What the newspaper in NY did with gun owners names, we should do to every journalista.

Annoy them, then get the video, call them names and put it on YouTube. Make their lives so miserable that they will beg for us to stop.

The media is the problem because no matter how many times we hear from people “I dont trust anything the media says” they DO!! What we need to do is get as many Conservatives into the media as possible that is the only way to really change things..as long as the media is owned and operated by the left wingers, you will continue to have zombies going along with whatever the media says

Taking what doesn't belong to him is who he is.

The Democrat Party has made a good living doing that for years. The trick is to convince 51% of the parasites that they are doing that for them.

Well that’s a conspiracy theory stretch.

OIdiot will get what he wants. RINOs will cave and “conservatives” everywhere will STILL line up and vote for who the GOP elite tell them to vote for over and over and over and over ....

Obama and the rats officially own this economy now. From here on out, they will be known as the party of high taxes, reckless spending and no accountability. They will be known as the party who refused to save social security. They will be known as the official welfare food stamp party. It will be their policies which will kill the economy.

If God does take sides, it probably isn’t with a baby killing, pop culture sewage and cult of personality worshipping nation like the United States.

Seems some folks still believe Obama wants a deal??

Obama hates America and gets more of what he wants without any deal.
