Notre Dame Fans Continue To Trash Alabama With Offensive National Championship T-Shirts

In the month leading up to Notre Dame's first trip to the national championship game in more than two decades, Irish faithful have created a series of T-shirts bashing their opponent, Alabama.
Notre Dame is winning the trash-talking battle with the series of racy shirts, but the last thing Notre Dame needs is to provide a feisty Crimson Tide team and fan base with any source of motivation before the game.
Maybe Alabama will take the shirts for their comedic value.

“I used to think that Notre Dame had some class.”
They are just like the University of Southern California. A bunch of classless rich people who think it’s sportsmanlike to trash talk. One year at UC Berkeley we went down for the SC game. All the SC rooters had “Bang the Bears” T-Shirts and when you asked them about it they said “wait until next week when we play the Oregon Ducks!”
Seems like fair game, and not offensive. Whether it is up to the standards expected from a Catholic institution, not for me to say. I generally like Notre Dame, but their past conduct on a number of issues and who they welcome to campus often has not followed Catholic teachings.

You should have been disabused of that notion the first time they honored obama with an honorary degree while at the same time they were have elderly priests thrown in jail for having the temerity to say the Holy Rosary on campus property. As far as this lifetime Catholic is concerned Notre Dame is now Notre Shame.

Is this the Notre Dame that gave a doctorate to O’bama. The same Notre Dame who arrested an 80 year old priest who had the guts to protest? The same Notre Dame who won’t object to Obama’s abortion methods? Yup. Got it. I remember now.
But Notre Dame has been a shadow of its former self for decades now.
It wouldn't surprise me if more people go to Mass in Tuscaloosa every Sunday than do in South Bend.

I’m a Catholic, and I believe that the church should excommunicate anyone who supports abortion, and as such, everyone at Notre Dame should cease calling themselves Catholic at once!

Players on championship caliber teams don't need artificial motivation to get themselves "up" for a game. Putting on their uniforms should be all the motivation that players need to go out and try to win the game.

I used to live in IN ....many people outside of Notre Dame that I knew could not stand that school because they were so snooty.....Purdue an IU are big rivals but I think they agree on their dislike of Notre Dame....
