Evan is Danny Manning’s son. (Danny and the Miracles 1988 National Champions from Kansas University) He’s been assistant coach at KU now for years and just moved to I think Tulsa University. Evan is a freshman at KU and along with Bill Self’s son, a walk on for the Jayhawks.
I haven’t followed that. You must be from Kansas or else follow it closely. My first thought on the name Manning was Peyton and Eli of the Bronchos and Giants.
I don’t get the connection with RGIII and this story, and I don’t get why “they” (whoever “they” are) might say something about Evan Manning.
