Well, those who are well prepared have no immediate food issues. All the Feds need to do is cut off the Golden Hordes’ EBT cards and turn them loose on us.
Then the gun-grabbers can pick off any hold-outs/survivors...
We could conveniently rid the country of most of the taker-useful idiots for them...BUT, DHS/USPS/Etc didn’t buy all those hollowpoints for fighting Al Qaeda.... And I suspect they won’t be using them on their surviving voting bloc.

Selective use of the electrical grid. Crops are watered by electric pumps. Food is processed using electricity.
With the almost cashless world we live in - leftist could cancel our banking and credit card access. It would still be difficult for them - but in the near future, it’ll be easy...l
That's actually insanely/disturbingly easy:
1 -- Our rail-system goes through one of [fewer than] 16 points in all lengthy runs -- destroy or control those locations and you have control of *ALL* rail-shipping.
2 -- Raise the price of Diesel fuel by another dollar (maybe even as little as 50 cents) and It's likely that a lot of trucking companies will go out of business.
Do both of those and there will be starvation. There are other things that our government can do to exacerbate starvation-enforcement.
The feds can shut down oil production and delivery. Not a whole hell of a lot of us live next to producing farmland. Those who have been preparing can keep on for a time.- a few weeks to a year or so, but for the anti hoarding measures that will be taken. It will be easy to identify 'hoarders,' anyone who is not emaciating.
And this government is in possession of the technology to find anyone's gun no matter how well he hides it. They can find deeply buried guns from the air and they have drones that will be multiplied and augmented rapidly. We would have to survive until production has degraded to the point that the government is severely limited as to how much of that tech magic it can deploy. There will b e famine in that scenario and the population will reduce fairly quickly.
