With all due respect to the Marine, I can not even imagine going to mexico and even less so with anything they might consider jailing one for.
There are places you just don’t go unless it is for battle.
obviously he was operating with wrong/bad information. I doubt the Marine would have tried to “declare” the weapon if he was trying to smuggle it in......
