Oh no, Nick. Rick undermined his own campaign by making several injudicious statements when “winging it” in speeches and interviews. Had Rick not screwed up, and he did a magnificent job on his shoestring budget, he’d have been our nominee. And, who knows? At least he wasn’t fearful of attacking Ovomit. To me, Romney was a very pleasant surprise, but he had hired absolute dolts as advisers who doomed his campaign. Bob

This has nothing to do with Santorum. This has to do with megacommunist Gingrich getting the support of conservatives.

Actually, Rick didn’t make most of those “injudicious statements.” He was constantly quoted out of context by Romney, Rove, Coulter, and the left wing press. And, I’m afraid, by more than a few Freepers who disliked him.
