3-Gun Nation is a show that follows the top competitors in the United States as they make their way towards the 3-Gun national championship in Las Vegas, NV. It wasn’t a particularly interesting or exciting show, but it was a firearms related sports show that was picked up by NBC...
Apparently, following the shooting in Connecticut, NBC sports has decided to put an “indefinite moratorium” on shooting related shows.

Oh there will still be guns on NBC. Every cop drama will still show gun owners as the bad guy, and all guns were bought with the “gun show loophole” or over the internet

Agreed. Law and Order will still be on the air making gun owning,christian,right-wing folks the bad guy on every episode. I have a L&O fan in the house and have to leave the room when they watch re-runs on USA or TNT....the show makes me want to puke.

It’s going to be like the way they pulled smoking out of films. Although I didn’t see the movie Pearl Harbor one of the scenes was in the officers club - and nobody was smoking. In real life you probably wouldn’t be able to see across the room with all the smoking. Next up will be no drinking scenes.

I certainly hope that those are not the only firearms you own. They are very sub-standard as far as modern combat firearms are concerned. Not the kind of weapons you want to use to defend your family when the SHTF.

Cannot recall watching anything on NBC except football for years now anyway.
