Yes, thank you, but it’s not just my world, it’s everyone’s world.
You did mean no ultimate right or wrong also, didn’t you?

Thanks, I’m sure it’s a good read, but I’ll just go with the real conclusion.

From whence do you derive your understanding of God? is it self-constructed?

Self-evidence, derived from God at creation.
Do you consider self-evidence the same as self-constructed?

Thanks, Im sure its a good read, but Ill just go with the real conclusion. Your opinion makes it real. I remember that from before when you decided I was self-deluded and your proof was I disagreed with you.

Self-evidence is intellectual arrogance?

Thinking that your intellectual construct of God is the correct one, derived purely from your own mind, is intellectual arrogance. Your posts smack of it too.

You do realise that I never said it was correct, I merely said it’s what I believe.
To be correct, would mean I have knowledge of the construct of God and I could prove it beyond question, wouldn’t it? I don’t believe anyone has or ever had that knowledge.

So then it is YOUR world that is cushy, and not everyone’s.

You do realise that I never said it was correct, I merely said its what I believe. By definition, if you believe it, then you think it is correct.

How many realities or worlds, do you know of?
Myself,I believe there is only one...but I certainly can’t prove it.

To: stuartcr
well then there are at least two, because YOUR reality/world bears zero resemblance to mine. Nor have i ever heard anyone else espouse belief in such a reality/world as you describe.

I don’t agree, I think beliefs on this subject, like theories, are open-ended.

To: stuartcr
It doesn't matter whether you agree or not.
The definition of belief is that you think it is true.
Your opinion/belief/thought does not affect reality, no matter how much you think it does.

what a slipping, sliding, conditional world you envision. no fixed standards— believe what you want, do what you want. just strikes me as just so... convenient.

Well, call it something other than a belief then, it really doesn’t matter. Of course it doesn’t affect reality, that’s why it’s not knowledge.

Yes, luckily I don’t want to do anything that gets me in trouble. I’m really quite blessed.
