Does anyone here think that this would pass? Just when the economy is getting such great attention she comes along with a deflector. She is just trying to deflect your attention fron the economy.

Do you still think that she has any chance in hell of passing guncontrol with all of us watching congress.

Yes. It could very well pass.

Demographics have changed quite a bit since 1994. NRA/2A supporters are overwhelmingly white males and we just don't have the numbers we used to. Sad truth is, outside of the ever-shrinking white male demographic, there's no great love in this country for assault rifles and high-cap magazines.

And come Christmas morning when we turn on our TVs to scenes of grieving parents, unopened presents and little coffins getting lowered into the ground, every minivan-driving soccer mom across the land will be screaming for Obama and congress to do something.

Uh...yea. Absolutely this has a chance to pass. Not in the current form, but a variant of it.

Then, Obozo’s administration could follow it up with regulation, cost prohibitive fees/taxes, executive order icing on top banning Internet sales of ammunition and or hoarding of ammunition over a few hundred rounds.

It's coming and these progressives will throw everything against the wall over and over to see what sticks.

I suspect the GOP will fall over themselves to vote for it.

After the GOP lost the election, they have been seeking to rebrand themselves, and this is a perfect chance to do just that.

And if they do, the GOP will go away.
