Do you have to be 21 to purchase a firearm in Connecticut?
If so, is that why this 20-year-old had his 24-year-old brother’s ID on his body?

And did the brother, Ryan, know that Adam was using his ID to purchase guns?
What else did Ryan know?

You have to be 21 to purchase a pistol nationwide. In Connecticut, you also have to apply for an eligibility certificate through the Commissioner of Public Safety to get permission to purchase a handgun.

I'm getting this from my CHL app on my iPhone. I don't live in Connecticut.

Did the two look enough alike that the “borrowed” license would be believed?

It might have been other things than guns, of course, that he wanted Crazy Little Brother to get. Liquor maybe, or cigarettes, or porn.

I have heard that he didn’t get to purchase the gun he wanted. Gun store turned him down for being underage. That part, if true, shows that gun laws and gun stores are doing their jobs.

However, his mother was perfectly entitled to have as many guns as she felt comfortable with. The kid kills her to get her guns——and he has various possible mental problems.
