There is only one plausible use for these F-16s - an attack on Israel. Israel cannot rely on the US for any assistance and needs to make sure that these jets, along with the ones already in Egypt, have various mysterious system problems that the Egyptians cannot fix.

Egypt doesn't need jets. Certainly don't need any additional jets. Who is going to attack them? No one. Egypt would certainly use them as offensive weapons, against our ally Israel. We need to cut off all aid to Egypt.
