Two utterances from one Bill Clinton might — just MIGHT — be playing into this”
“You might want to put some ice on that”
and
“I did not have sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.”

Why the hell should members of the military disposed to abuse women hold back when the alleged Commander-in-Chief” was a notorious abuser?????

Then there’s the insane poliy of forcing the genders together in high-stress environments.

Just sayin’.

Creeping leftism.

The leftists seek a collective of subservient drones -not individuals.

This but another step forward in their effort.

I always thought it amusing that Adolph Galland, commander of the Luftwaffe fighter command had “Mickey Mouse” on his fighter.

They will never admit this to the public. Years ago the women had their own barracks and they had guards posted. Men were only allowed during posted visiting hours. If they did not have enough women to full a barracks they occupied an entire floor and men were not allowed. They have gone away from that.

Now women are mixed in in co-ed dormitories and that is when the problems started.

A lot of the sexual assaults are not actual physical assaults. Just looking at a woman for too long can get you in hot water.

The military has weird rules about sexual harassment.

Check out this case.

-Female troop was spraying tire foam on her car tire.
-Two male troops from her unit walk by and one made a comment that he could make her foam up like the tire.
-All three laughed about it but the female troop did not like the guy who did not make the comment
-she filed a sexual harassment complaint against him
-all three were punished and lost money
-she was punished because she did not report both guys

This is just an example of what goes on.

This is yet another version of the “video did it” theme the Obama Admin used in Benghazi instead of fessing up to their own incompetence in failing to provide adequate security.

Now it is "the pinups did it" to explain away the problems that are cropping up due to the deletorious effect leftist social-engineering policies are having on morale and discipline.

It's like the "Bush did it" theme Obama uses to excuse leftwing economic failures.

Whatever the name of the mental disorder that liberals suffer from, it is clear that one of the ever present symptoms of their disease is an inability to analyze any process or event for possible causes and effects. instead they always glom onto the assertion that an inanimate object, working entirely on its own volition, causes everything that is not Bush’s fault.

Having my wife of over 25 years move out, has caused my eyes to now notice things a bit differently also.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you'll be OK.

I've adopted a strategy that makes it logically impossible for a wife to move out on me, although it may have happened in some previous life.

I suppose you're right. I originally thought is was a variant spelling of something else.

Interesting. While there seemed to be no firm rule during a brief exposure I had to SAC in the early 70’s the ‘nose art’ and naming of aircraft seemed to have been considerably sanitized from the Big War. The wing commander's aircraft was named ‘The City of Spokane’ and that pretty much set the tone . Others were named ‘The Hammer of Freedom’, ‘The Lightning Express’ and one simply ‘Mailed Fist’. No cuties, no pin ups just names that either commemorated some part of the US or exalted military might.
