For 2016, Bush vs. Clinton

Jeb Bush in 2016?

(CNN) -- For all of our post-2012 election talk about the changing culture, the changing demographics and, perhaps, a changing party, preliminary thoughts out of D.C. about the 2016 election have us headed toward not much change at all: Clinton vs Bush ... again.

I am as intrigued by the prospects of these two juggernauts, Jeb and Hillary, locking ideological horns as I am repulsed by the thought of half of my life being dominated by two family names. One, Clinton, has risen from the ashes after the White House. The other name, Bush, is so toxic that the past two Republican nominees avoided saying it in public, opting instead to skip their combined 12 years in office and head straight back to Reagan.

Face it, Hillary has baggage, but Jeb has Bush, and that, moreso than his record as governor of Florida or ideas for the future, will determine, at least at the beginning, how he is received. That explains why more than a few conservatives were not thrilled to hear that he was thinking of running.

Trust me. If Jeb Bush gets the nomination, you will again be bullied into voting for him like everyone bullied people here to vote for Romney. In 2009, FREEPERS were saying, “No way will I vote for Romney” and look what happened. They got on the Romney train and never looked back. They cycle is the same every single time.

I hear what you are saying and it was true for sometime for me, as well.
However, since I believe this country has passed the point of no return
anyway, I will handle the paid Jeb Clampett Bush brow-beaters here.
I will not vote for another Rino under any circumstance. I’m done.

I've never said I will not vote for a RINO presidential candidate. Before now.

I will not do it again.

too soon for another Bush to run (no matter how good this one may possibly really be)....

Hillary has turned off the majority of voters with her sellout of America as Sec of State... it won’t avail her much to try to excuse herself by pleading she was “just following orders,” that would make for a piss-poor campaign slogan

result of a Hillary vs Bush election?
massive voter turn-off and a nose-dive in legitimate votes
enabling
voter fraud to win again, only this time by a larger margin

Hillary in the White House (Billy probably then goes back to Arkansas as a single man)

TIME FOR THE R party to nominate someone who is salable to the voters and who will actually wage a real campaign for a change!

I fear you are correct. I just can’t believe that we got this bad. Why can’t intelligent people see the direction we are going and it is not good. I do believe it sucks that President Bush had the beginning ONE MONTH of badness before the election....I know it was over 4 years ago, but not matter how much I argue with people that it was the Democrats in Congress or that Obama has made it worse, the fact is, that people only see Bush’s ONE bad month before the election.....SO FRUSTRATING!

Please, dear God,no more Bushes, no more Clintons, and no more RINOs! I am fairly confident that as the GOP goes on, they will give us candidates that will make GWB and Romney look like Tea Party conservatives.

Can Slick actually stay out of the limelight if Hillary is elected? The cameras and adoring crowds are the one thing he craves as much as young, buxom interns.

There is no chance of a GOP candidate winning a Presidential election again now with 50% takers and increasing and only 50% makers and decreasing paying the bills

Not only that, but should the GOP run this fool, I will vote for his opponent.

I will vote for an Obama 3rd term before I support this man.

I have grown to hate the GOP and their bullsh!t “conservatives”.
