You either make the republican party more conservative or nothing. A third party won’t do anything. And while our house leader isn’t good, I don’t think ANYONE will like the debt deal or lack thereof. This divide and conquer tactic on us is working apparently...because some folks on here think you can just make a conservative party and naturally win all elected office....dream on. We have to find a way to gather a majority conservative party and republican lite party together or we’re just a losing party all the way.
You gotta love a Freeper who lives his tagline. You're settling for a mediocre party that stands for nothing except that which our enemies allow.
No one expects a third party to win elections out of the box. But today's Republican Party can't either. The idea is to confront the Republican Party with the loss of influence and power that will surely follow -- necessarily -- by the revolt of its base.
We want their attention. That's how you gain control -- not by working from within a party structure that is built for conservatives to fail.
