A construction crew working on the campus of Ohio’s Sinclair Community College was forced to halt work until it removed a “Men Working” sign that was deemed “sexist” by a college administrator. A spokesman for the college told National Review Online that the incident, which occurred on November 21, stemmed from the school’s “deep commitment to diversity,” and that it takes that commitment “very seriously.”

A “deep commitment to diversity” is inversely proportional to any kind of a “commitment to excellence.”
Given that those workmen produce more value in one day than the vast majority of that looser “university” does in a year, the workers should simply tell the “university” to shove it up their smelly Obamas and try and find some of their valued “diversity” dorks to go out and try to do the real work that these workers are doing.
Without killing themselves are injuring their pot-filled lungs.
December 21st is quickly approaching. Don’t they have better things to do in preparation for the end of the world than to worry about who would be offended by a safety sign?

I emailed helpdesk@sinclair.edu asking for the name of the administrator who demanded the sign be removed. I suggest a few million other Freepers do the same. The only way radical leftists can be silenced is via the same intimidation tactics they use against us. If Sinclair responds-which I doubt—I’ll post the name of this lib, PC clown. The NAtional Review should have done that in the first place.

I’m sure that there is a law/statute that requires signage for construction sites. In which case, after the sign was removed, work should have stopped, until the law was changed.

By the way, when you see a Men working sign htat is usually what is happening, If a woman is on site she is the flag person.
That’s what I suggested when the Air Force Academy was forced to change it’s iconic “Bring Me Men” sign. I suggesteed they do product placment and make it “Bring Me Mentos.”
No, that is also sexist, because it contains the sexist three letter combination SON, which is a male offspring. The non-sexist spelling of perSON would therefore be peroffspring, and the politically correct, non-sexist name for the capitol of California would be ...

I had one call me and start whining that when she spell checked her email she noticed “racist” was in the system dictionary but “racism” was not and she WANTED IT FIXED RIGHT NOW!
