Hmm, Ford Foundation.

More tax dollars down the tubes.

Methinks that the unions and the whining teachers won’t go for any more ‘work’.

At least not without the state forking over half their GDP.

This is house manure. The Germans went from about 700: to 1:00.

How about leaving out the curricula which put condoms on vegetables and teach that perversion is normal and spend it on core courses instead? No additional study halls required, and the quality of education can increase.

I was told that the only increases in school hours would be because of Sandy.

I’m glad I’m long out of school. I already put 5 years into high school; that was tough enough for me and I was pretty close to being dropped out. Having to do it again, for a longer period of time would be quite bad.

In second grade, US students rank among the top students in the world. After ten years of unionized education, as high school seniors they rank somewhere between 70th and 80th world wide. Something important isn’t working unless the union goal is to produce an unthinking electorate. Then it is working just fine.

Just 300 hours more of liberal social indoctrination of the children.

Next step: Pre-pre K

Final step: An NEA teacher will be in every hospital delivery room to carry the little one off to Newborn School. ( No sarcasm intended.)

I consider government schooling to be so damaging to children and such a threat to our nation’s continuing freedom that I have made a personal decision.

Decision: I will not have a government school worker for a friend. They are too evil, too stupid, or too much of a Useful Idiot to be a friend. They are out of my life!

Government schools exist because workers **willingly** seek employment to run them. No one is holding a gun to their heads. Abortion centers exist for the same reason, too.

Won’t this cut into the pay of those who babysit the children outside school hours? Their union should have fought it!
