(CNSNews.com) - House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said on Friday that Congress should hand over to President Barack Obama personal, unilateral authority to increase the limit on the U.S. government's debt.
At a Friday press conference, a reporter asked Pelosi if she agreed with a proposal made by Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner that Congress give Obama the power to unilaterally increase the debt limit.
"Yes," she said.
When he met with members of Congress on Thursday to discuss a deal to avoid the so-called fiscal cliff that is set to occur at the end of this year, Secretary Geithner suggested that Congress give Obama the personal power as president to lift the legal limit on the federal government's debt.

It would take business owners to stop paying the taxes of their businesses and for their employees. Give it to the employee or escrow it, but don’t pay the government.

Step 1 - Let the fiscal cliff occur - Obama would not seriously/sincerely address the problems.
Step 2 - Warn that Obama intransigence and failure to lead will cause a recession
Step 3 - Give Obama a 3 month debt ceiling raise and warn that a budget must be agreed upon to justify any further increases in ceiling. Be prepared to stand firm... without a budget that limits government spending (bylaw) Obama will spend us into oblivion.

I have people in my circle of friends and aquaintences who have escaped true tyrannical dictatorships. They come from Romania, Portugal, Cambodia and China. Some escaped with only their lives. The stories that they tell are chilling. But they came to America and worked their hearts out, they became citizens and prospered. And to a person, each has offered to lay down their lives, (and in some cases their kids did) to defend the last hope of mankind.
And they all ask, “Why can’t people understand what this man Obama is doing?”
I don’t want to sound like a keyboard kommando; the good Lord knows that I’m no hero, but I’ve reached that point in my life where I have pretty much got everything done that needs to be done. And I don’t know what the future is going to hold, but I don’t think that it’s going to take all that much more before I could be persuaded to go to the barricades.
It has caved in, eons ago as have the idiots who keep reelecting this psychopath. One way to get rid of her is to have a constitutional requirement that all member of Congress submit to random drug testing. My niece is a drug counselor who is absolutely certain Nancy there has a little old methamphetamine habit. She says she displays all the symptoms while speaking, and I believe it after watching a few videos of Ms. Pelosi in action.
