Barbara Lee drops leadership bid, clearing way for Crowley

Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) said Wednesday that she is dropping her leadership bid in what would’ve been the only contested race among House Democrats.

Lee, a former chairwoman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, said she was withdrawing her bid in order to “unify” lawmakers around Crowley.

Well, "progressives" aren't very progressive. If they were making progress, they'd realize that crap is crap, no matter if its proponent is a Woman of Color or Some Straight White Guy:
“Our 113th Democratic Caucus provides a real opportunity for us to be part of the change that our country so desperately needs,” she continued, noting that House Democrats next year will make up the most diverse caucus in history, with a majority of its members either a woman or a minority.

Congressional Black Caucus. Congressional Hispanic Causcus. Congressional Progressive (liberal) Caucus. Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus. How much longer before we get a Congressional Gay Caucus, a Congressional Lesbian Caucus, and a Congressional Cross Dresser Caucus?

Barbara Lee is a hardcored communist. Wonder what she has up her sleeve? She is dangerous so let’s keep an eye on her.
